I've missed going on DA on a daily basis...
I miss posting stuffums..

But, I am glad to have some stead pay.
I'm working for Coroware, doing video editing for Microsoft (still learning the ropes, but I'm getting there...).
It pays well and I currently make my own hours..
I'm still working at FasTracKids in Redmond, but this week is going to be our final week of classes.

Why?
My boss, Uzma...
is having twin girls!! Yay Uzma!!
The doctor is ordering her to go on bed rest... in fact, he wanted her on bed rest almost a month ago, but she wanted to wrap up this unit for the kiddies.
The unit is creativity, and I (Miss Elf) have been used as an example almost every week.
"FasTracKids, what is something that we do that uses our creativity?"
.... stare....
"what does Miss Elf do almost constantly?"
...blink... "she draws..."
"That's right! She draws!! Does drawing use creativity?"
"..yeah!"

The only bad part about being the assistant teacher there is when I get about 7 kids crowding around me, all demanding pictures. Some kids are really nice about it, and ask me very politely for a drawing.
Other kids just kinda leap at me and say "draw me a princess!" or what have you.
After about3 or 4 drawings, Uzma usually comes to my aid, saying
"FasTracKids, Miss Elf is not a machine!" to which I will reply "It's true..."
Last week, Aneesha told me that I need more practice drawing Ariel the Little Mermaid.
I haven't seen that movie since High School, kiddo! If you can draw her better, you do it! And quit askin' me to draw her!

Spring is bustin' out all over in Woodinville and it's beautiful!
so are my African Violets..
I've decided that I'd like to breed show violets, because Amelia makes such beautiful babies! Almost all of her babies have lovely leaf formations, and they all have their mother's blooms (well, they *are* cuttings)..

Anyway, I'd best get back to work.
This lunch break has gotten far out of control!
